MSSRT Sun Peaks Fall Camps 2018

Mt Spokane Ski Race Team is offering multiple camps at Sun Peaks, B.C. from November 17th through December 2nd. This is a great opportunity to jump start your season.

Training Venue

Sun Peaks provides us with an outstanding training venue that was developed by the Austrian Ski Federation. The Sun Peaks Resort includes three different mountains. We will train in the venue in every morning and ski the rest of the area with the athletes in the afternoons.

Accommodations

Our lodging and meals will be at Nancy Greene’s Cahility Lodge. This is a ski-in, ski-out facility that provides the athletes good rooms and quality meals. The lodge also provides the team a large tune/wax/storage room in the heated underground parking area.

MSSRT families or parents traveling to Sun Peaks will receive a 20% discount on any available rooms if they tell the booking agent that they are with the Mt Spokane Ski Race Team. There is no time limit on the discount but rooms fill up quickly so book your rooms early if you are planning on going. Camps

Sun Peaks Family Camp                                                                   November 22nd – 25th

This camp is open to all ages and includes 4 days on snow. Families need to travel on Nov 21st. This option does not include transportation or lodging. Parents will be responsible for athlete supervision when athletes are not skiing with their coaches. Athletes have the option to have meals with or without the team. Over the four days this camp will progress from drills to gate training.

Tuition without meals - $600

Tuition with meals - $720

Sun Peaks Mid-November Camp                                                       November 17th – 25th

This camp is open to U12 (age 10) and older athletes and includes eight days on snow. This option includes transportation, lodging, tickets, coaching, and all meals except for lunch on the 17th and dinner on the 25th. All athletes must travel and stay with the team. This camp will focus on Slalom and Giant Slalom technique / tactics. We may have the opportunity ski on Super G skis as well.

Tuition - $1950

Sun Peaks Late November Camp                                             November 23rd – December 2nd

This camp is open to U14 (age 12) and older athletes and includes nine days on snow. This option includes transportation, lodging, tickets, coaching, and all meals except for lunch on the 23rd and dinner on the 2nd. All athletes must travel and stay with the team. This camp will focus on Slalom and Giant Slalom technique / tactics. We may have the opportunity ski on Super G skis as well.

Tuition - $2150

Sun Peaks Full Camp                                                                    November 17th – December 2nd

This camp is open to U16 (age 14) and older athletes and includes 15 days on snow. This option includes transportation, lodging, tickets, coaching, and all meals except for lunch on the 17th and dinner on the 2nd. All athletes must travel and stay with the team. This camp will focus on Slalom and Giant Slalom technique / tactics. We may have the opportunity ski on Super G skis as well.
