SSRA's FIS
Junior program has been created for those preparing for Western Region,
Canadian and NorAm FIS competition. This program is periodized over 9
months following summer training camps. Dryland training begins Oct. 6th
and continues through Dec. 16th. On-snow training begins with fall camps
at Mt. Hood and in Canada (11/20-11/28) and continues at Mt. Spokane from
the opening to the closing of the resort. FIS Junior training takes place
from 9am-3pm on weekend, or from 7am-1pm when speed training. Mid-week
training is offered on Wednesday/Thursday nights during Jan/Feb. and during
the day, Wednesday-Friday, unless traveling. USSA and FIS schedules are
staffed with SSRA coaches whenever possible. SSRA's FIS Team is for athletes
