April 4-6 (Mission Ridge, WA): In the final races of the regular season PNSA calendar, the SSRA U16's travelled to Mission Ridge to compete in the Northwest Cup Finals. The premier series in the division, the NWC Finals brings together U16's, U18's and U21's, as well as college racers. In spite of the team being primarily in their first year of eligibility, SSRA U16's showed poise and executed on the Skookum piste. In the Super G, Will Gottsch led the men with a 36th place. Scot Simpson was 44th. In the Slalom, Cole McClellan arced into 16th place on a challenging course. Will Gottsch was close behind in 22nd, followed by Jared Farley in 27th and Scot Simpson in 42nd. The GS finished the series with McClellan completing the run in 33rd after 2nd run difficulties. Scot Simpson was 38th, Jared Farley was 42nd, and Will Gottsch finsihed in 44th.
