Kristen Wick qualified for and competed in the 2004 Western Region J1/2 Junior Olympics held at Mt. Bachelor, March 23-30, 2004. The event brings together the fastest 15-19 year olds in all of the Western Region's five divisions (PNSA, Far West, Intermountain, Northern and Alaska).

Although Kristen could only complete the slalom and super G events due to academic demands, she made her mark while she was at Mt. Bachelor! Kristen finished 20th in the slalom on March 30th with a total time of 2:06.36. She also scored her season best FIS slalom result at the event.
