FIS Junior/Junior/Junior Development (DEVO) Fall Training Camp

 

PAYING FOR THE CAMP

First-make sure that Chuck gets your $100 (US) deposit by Tuesday, November 12.

Paying for the costs of the Banff Early Winter Training Camp is done on an idividual basis. Unlike summer camps, you will not pay a fee to cover all costs. Instead you will pay for what you need, idividually as you go. You will pay Chuck for two things:

1. Coach per diem

2. Norquay training fees (includes training space/lift tickets and lunches)-your $100 deposit will be applied towards these fees. You must be prepared to pay the difference.

The above payments need to be made in CANADIAN FUNDS. Please plan on having some Canadian cash to cover coach per diem and Norquay training fees.

Besides these items, the best way to spend in Canada is with a credit or debit card!

 

MONEY MANAGEMENT

If you are sending your athlete to Banff with another family, it is a good idea to arrange to have that family help  your athlete manage their money. Coaches can not be expected to keep track of money for each athlete.

PER DIEM

Per diem is the cost of coaches expenses divided by the athletes attending.

Per Diem can fluctuate depending on:

  • Number of athletes attending. The more athletes, the more the per diem costs are shared and thus reduced on an individual level. The maximum number of athletes for this trip, however, is 14, to insure a high quality training experience.
  • If Norquay "comps" both coaches.
  • If coaches are provided a vehicle to drive to Banff. Otherwise, mileage of $375.00 will be included in per diem.
